The 2010 annual conference of TSPN took place on November 17-18 in Bern, Switzerland.

Side events

  • Public launch of the
    State of Sustainability Initiatives Review 2010: Sustainability and Transparency
    by the Sustainable Commodity Initiative (SCI) and SECO  on Wednesday,
    November 17     (18:00 - 19:30 h);

  • The TSPN Member Meeting took place on Thursday afternoon, November 18, 2010;

  • On Tuesday November 16, 2010, the IFC , in collaboration with the TSPN secretariat, has held the kick-off meeting for the new TSPN working group 3 on private sector actors with the objective of mainstreaming sustainable production in developing countries through private voluntary standards". More information on this working group can be found here.

The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs ( SECO ), which is represented in the TSPN Steering Committee, generously hosted the conference and the side events at its domicile town Bern, Switzerland.
