Dear Members, Partners and Friends,
Welcome to the December issue of the TSPN Newsletter! This Newsletter aims to provide you with quick and regular information on key activities and news related to the TSPN network, its members and other standard-related actors, with a particular emphasis on voluntary sustainability standards.
From November 30th - December 1st, 2011, we held our Annual Conference at the World Bank in Washington DC, USA. The conference topic of "Sustainability Standards in South-South Trade" received positive attention from around 85 participants and we were happy to welcome many of our members there. The Secretariat is now underway preparing a conference report that will be available on our homepage soon under this link, where you can already find the presentations of the conference.
The TSPN Member Meeting followed to the conference. Please check the TSPN homepage in a few days to read the minutes including the annual report and some reflections on the future of TSPN.
Enjoy reading!
The TSPN Secretariat
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
