The workshop will be held from April 28-29, 2008 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

The objectives of the workshop are to exchange experiences and lessons learned associated with GlobalGAP group certification in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America and to develop approaches to improve certification processes for smallholders for the next GlobalGAP standard revision.

To achieve these objectives work groups will elaborate constructive proposals on GlobalGAP Control Points, and General Regulations (especially group certification and the quality management system requirements) to improve the applicability of the standard to smallholder farms worldwide.
