Call for Proposals for New Steering Committee Members
Developing Country Representatives invited to join Steering Committee
Per the TSPN Draft Charter the Steering Committee (SC) agreed at the last planning workshop to accept nominations of developing country representatives to join the SC. The role of the new SC members will be the same as that of current SC members. Broadly speaking the responsibilities of the SC members is to take part in discussions and decisions on the Network's strategy, policy and activity planning and contribute in the execution of TSPN activities.
With these general responsibilities in mind all members are invited to nominate potential SC members from regional organizations representing developing countries. In order to nominate an SC representative please use the following application which also contains a detailed description of the roles and responsibilities of the Steering Committee. Nominations are due by July 31, 2009.
