Virtual Discussion about what Decision Makers in Developing Countries need to turn Voluntary Standards into Catalysts for Development
Invited Development Country representatives will discuss possible needs during two online sessions.
In line with the Working Group 1 “Improved Informed Decision Making of Developing Country (DC) Stakeholders on Voluntary Standards” an e-dialogue organized by the TSPN Secretariat is planned. Session 1 will be held online from 4 - 6 November, and Session 2 on 30 November. Developing country representatives will be invited to join the e-dialogue. They will formulate their concrete needs, with regard to selecting and incorporating trade-related voluntary standards into development strategies. The findings of the e-dialogue will feed into the “Guide for Decision Making” mentioned in the article above. We will provide you with further information via email and our homepage.
