Direct assistance provided by the Egyptian Traceability Center for Agro-Industrial Exports (ETRACE) to hundred Pack Houses, reaching over 47,000 producers/growers and 5 million workers, for 11 key exported horticulture products; Development and adoption of a Traceability Manual; Provision of training in traceability and related issues to 600 people. Design of physical traceability (farm-to-fork) carried out through over 250 field visits and 38 technical assessments; Value Chain (VC) analysis of selected products, mapping of Pack Houses and production pattern available traceability software packages analysis; Food sector technology upgrading (post-harvest) and investment needs assessment carried out by ETRACE.
