Modernization and upgrading of selected Industries in Egypt
The IMC/ UNIDO Programme for Modernization and Upgrading of selected industries in Borg El Arab aimed at supporting the process of recovery of industrial production capacity, strengthening the abilities of support institutions, improving productivity, facilitating market access, enhancing growth of industries, export and employment and fostering integration in the context of economic and trade liberalization with focus on the Borg El Arab region. The programme encompassed the following three main areas of interventions: (a)Regional Capacity Building (b)Enterprises Upgrading and Modernization (c)Consortia Development
