Avian Influenza emergency recovery project
The development objectives of the project are threefold in support of the National Action Plan for the control of Avian Influenza Epedemic: (a) to strengthen disease surveillance and diagnostic capacity in the control of HPAI; (b) to strengthen the poultry sector infrastructure to better cope with serious disease outbreaks; and (c) to safeguard human health by improving public awareness and information.
