The PIP program will improve the capacity of ACP fresh fruit and vegetables exporters to comply with SPS regulations. The programme comprises four major components:1.- REGULATION Support ACP countries in preparing their SPS regulations and tolerance import dossiers. 2.- GOOD PRACTICE & FOOD SAFETY: direct assistance to ACP companies to adopt recognized systems for control of food safety and traceability. 3.- CAPACITY BUILDING: strengthening intermediary structures and dialogue with government bodies in charge of regulation. 4.- INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION
