Quebec Organic Reference Standard

Bio Logo Quebec Organic

The Québec Organic Reference Standards are a provincial organic standard developed by the Conseil des appellations reservée et des termes valorisants (CARTV), which is authorized by the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to set organic food standards on wild harvesting, apiculture, and maple syrup production.

The presence of the BIO Québec logo on products ensures that these products have been certified according to the Québec Organic Reference Standards, and guarantees that the products contain at least 95% ingredients of organic origin.
