  • International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) - The IRRI is the rice research center and the largest non-profit agricultural research center in Asia. It is one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research ( CGIAR ). The IRRI’s website is recognised as an outstanding educational resource, providing information on rice, including its history, production and trade, research, standard evaluation systems, literature resources, and links to databases from international rice research centres.
  • Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice) - The Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice) is a leading pan-African research organization with a mission to contribute to poverty alleviation and food security in Africa through research, development and partnership activities. It is one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the CGIAR . The Center hosts the African Rice Initiative (ARI), the Regional Rice Research and Development Network for West and Central Africa (ROCARIZ), and the Inland Valley Consortium (IVC).
  • International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) - CIMMYT is a non-profit research and training institution dedicated to both the development of improved varieties of wheat and maize, and introducing improved agricultural practices to farmers. It is one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the CGIAR.

  • The International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) - The ICC is one of the foremost international organisations in the field of cereal science and technology, dedicated to international cooperation and to the dissemination of up-to-date knowledge.
  • AACC International (formerly American Association of Cereal Chemists) - AACC International is a non-profit organization of members who are specialists in the use of cereal grains in foods. It gathers and disseminates scientific and technical information to professionals in the grain-based foods industry worldwide.
  • International Grains Council (IGC) - The IGC is an intergovernmental forum for cooperation in grains trade matters.
  • Bioversity International - Bioversity International is a global non-profit research organization and the operating name of the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute ( IPGRI ) and the International Network for Improvement of Banana and Plantain (INIBAP). It is one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the CGIAR. Research focuses on the conservation and use of  plant and animal genetic diversity.
  • International Seed Testing Association - ISTA is committed to developing, adopting and publishing standard procedures for sampling and testing seeds, and promoting uniform application of these procedures for evaluation of seeds moving in international trade.
