  • International Coffee Organization (ICO) - The International Coffee Organization ( ICO ) is the main intergovernmental organization for coffee, bringing together producing and consuming countries to tackle the challenges facing the world coffee sector through international cooperation.
  • Specialty Coffee Association of America - SCAA is the world’s largest coffee trade association dedicated to specialty coffee. It recognizes, develops and promotes specialty coffee by setting and maintaining quality standards for the industry; conducting research on coffee, equipment and perfection of craft; and providing education, training, resources and business services for members.
  • Specialty Coffee Association of Europe
  • The Coffee Guide (by International Trade Center) - An online handbook written for use by growers, processors, traders, exporters, coffee associations and people engaged in transport, finance, quality control, certification and other related sectors in coffee producing countries. It is also available in English and French.
  • Coffee Quality Institute - The Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) is a nonprofit organization working internationally to improve coffee quality and the lives of the people who produce it.
  • Cup of Excellence - The Cup of Excellence is an award given out for top coffees. Each year the award takes place in several coffee producing countries, a strict competition selects the very best coffee produced in that country for that particular year.
  • TCC Coffee Barometer - The Tropical Commodity Coalition (TCC) publishes this report. The Coffee Barometer presents an analysis of the recent market developments in the certified coffee sector. It starts with the concept of certification and the different standards systems used for certification and their main features. Followed by an overview of the availability and procurement of certified coffee and the developments and trends in the Italian, German and Dutch markets.
  • Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) Platform ‐working group on coffee ‐ In order to support the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices worldwide, SAI Platform created specific Working Groups to develop a number of activities, including: Pilot Projects; General as well as crop-specific frames to assess agricultural practices; Guidelines for sustainable agricultural practices; Cost/benefit studies on the Pilot Projects.
