• International Potato Center (Centro Internacional de la Papa, CIP) - CIP focuses on scientific research and related activities on potato, sweetpotato, other root and tuber crops, and on the improved management of natural resources in the Andes and other mountain areas. It is one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the CGIAR .
• FAO Food and Nutrotion Division Manual on Fresh Fruits and Vegetables - The Food and Nutrition Division of FAO , with inputs provided by the workshops, has implemented the Global Project "Global Inventory, Reference Materials and Food Safety Training Programme for Improving the Quality and Safety of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables". The Manual is a guide for training courses for trainers at the national level.

• Bioversity International - Bioversity International is a global non-profit research organization and the operating name of the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute ( IPGRI ) and the International Network for Improvement of Banana and Plantain (INIBAP). It is one of the 15 international agricultural research Centers supported by the CGIAR. Research focuses on the conservation and use of  plant and animal genetic diversity.
• Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) - The CFC is an intergovernmental financial institution established within the framework of the United Nations. The Fund operates under the approach of commodity focus instead of the traditional country focus. The Fund finances projects for smallholder farmers, as well as small and medium sized enterprises involved in commodity production, processing and trade in developing and least developed countries.
• International Federation of Fruit Juice Producers (IFU) - The IFU represents the world-wide fruit juice industry on a global level. IFU favors technical and commercial contacts between the national associations and the juice producers of various countries, and gathers information, regulations and guidelines of the world-wide fruit juice industry. IFU also promotes the manufacture and consumption of fruit juices and vegetable juices and related products.
• Pesticide Initiative Program of COLEACP ( PIP ) - The PIP (financed by the European Development Fund) was set up by the European Union at the request of the ACP Group of States in order to forestall any negative effects on the ACP export sector resulting from ongoing regulatory changes in the EU and ensure the sector's long-term sustainability. PIP aims to contribute to the development of safe and sustainable trade between responsible partners.
• ITC – Horticulture - The International Trade Center ( ITC ) Horticulture site will be offering relevant information to all those who are dealing with international trade in bulk packed fruit juices, as well as fresh tropical and off-season fruit and vegetables.  It is also meant to serve as a discussion forum for producers, exporters and importers of these products.
• FAO Food Quality and Safety Database - This fresh fruit and vegetable quality and safety database has been developed by FAO within the framework of the Project PFL/INT/857 "Global Inventory, Reference Materials and Food Safety Training Programme for Improving the Quality and Safety of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables". The main objective of the database is to improve the safe production, harvesting, handling, storage, transport and marketing of fresh fruit and vegetables by providing access to reference information and information exchange among the chain actors, and tools for training, extension and awareness creation.
